I didn't graduate with you but went to school with many of you for many years.  I am hoping to make it to the reunion.  I'm living  in southern Illinois  now, but hope to make it to Chapel Hill for this. It would be fun to reminisce.

I’m excited to travel with my wife to meet our oldest son in Lyon, France. He’ll be attending a conference there in conjunction with his job as a researcher at Emory, and Lyon is where I spent my junior year of college in 1972-73 (along with Judy Cohan). I’m disappointed that the dates we’ll be in Lyon overlap the dates for the 55th reunion and will keep me from attending the reunion. Hope you all have a great time!

Haven't seen you all since '69, but do still remember many of you. Those were formative years, for sure. Much has happened to all of us and I wish I could make it back there in a month. I unfortunately will miss one more reunion as I have trips planned already for Charleston and Ireland. Enjoy all your catching up and I sure wish I could make the music event on Saturday evening. I still play in Irish bands out here in Colorado Springs, ever since 1977. Have a great time and stay healthy!

I had very much wanted to attend the reunion this year but had to make the wise choice to keep me healthy - or as much as I can - and that choice got reinforced again today. Some of my friends probably heard me say last time that I've had Thymus Gland cancer since Feb 2018. I just learned I also have bone marrow cancer. Because of that, I catch anything and everything my friends have and don’t know they are sharing, which isn't a good thing for me. I hope that everyone has a terrific time at the events this weekend. I truly wish I was there instead of starting chemo again. I will beat this and hope to be there next time.

Thank you to the committee for organizing and running the reunion last weekend. Steve and I had a wonderful time visiting with my classmates and eating a delicious barbeque dinner. I think everyone was truly enthusiastic about the event!

Thanks so much to the committee for your focus and efforts to pull the event together. Those of us who just showed up are very grateful for your work. Jean Anne and I had a delightful evening, and it was clear that all of us were enjoying ourselves immensely.
